210km over three days with 8600m of climbing sir?

Absolutely Jeeves. It would be most impolite to refuse such a generous offer.

Gore-tex? Bin-Tex!

It was a right tough bastard! The stats don’t even do it justice. a good 1-2 hours each day was spent shouldering the bikes up properly steep trails. Day one was the best by a long, long way. 3600m of climbing but every single descent an absolute winner. One of the greatest days out on a bike any of us had had.

Alas days 2 and 3 descended into a bit of a Euro slog-fest, with savage climbs up singletrack that would’ve been amazing in reverse followed by… fire road descents!!

Still, a great experience overall and fantastic to share it with BV friends Mansell, Addy and Chris. Next year we’ll remember to take our waterproofs to dinner!
