Road Cycling Trips

Mountainbiking might be our bread and butter at BikeVillage, but road riding is some damn good jam! We all love cycling in all of its beautiful forms (recumbants excepted) and the road cycling in the valley is absolutely mind blowing. So many guests have asked if we'd run some road weeks that June 5-12th 2010 is our innaugural trip. We are able to run road weeks for groups of 5 or more throughout the summer so give us a shout if you are interested.

Anyhow, back to the riding. Here are some Col names to throw at you: Col de la Madelaine, Col d'Iseran, Cormet de Roseland, Col du Petit St Bernard. Add to this a few classic resort climbs: Val d'Isere, La Plagne, Les Arcs (remember Indurain popping?), Courchevel, Tignes. They are all Category 1 Tour de France climbs and they are all rideable from our house. No excuses and nowhere to hide! The good news is that Sam also has a few more rolling rides up his sleeve, within an alpine context of 'rolling', so that we don't have to murder ourselves everyday!

It's really very simple – a classic BikeVillage week but on the road. If you fancy it then give us a shout. Enough said!
